Bart Rods is a small custom shop located just outside of Pulaski, NY. and has been in the rod building business for over 30 years.

Each handcrafted rod is built individually, so don't be afraid to ask for custom details or different components.

We are located in the heart of Salmon Country in scenic Upstate New York and are fortunate to be centrally located to some of the best fresh water game fishing on the Continent.

Salmon River in Pulaski, NY is home to trophy size Chinook & Coho Salmon, Steelhead, Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout and Smallmouth Bass.

Lake Ontario is recognized for its giant Walleye, Northern Pike, Muskellunge, Large & Smallmouth Bass, Salmon, Lake Trout, Brown Trout, and a plethora of panfish. Many record breaking lunkers have been caught from Lake Ontario.

A high performance custom fishing rod is made using quality components constructed by an experienced craftsperson. There is no substitute for either.

I use rod blanks, guides, ferrules, reel seats, butts, wrapping supplies and other components made by St. Croix, G. Loomis, Mudhole, American Tackle, and other well known and trusted makers.

Browse through the catalogs and note the part numbers of the components you would like incorporated into your rod and send me an email with this list and any other notes or questions you may have and I'll respond via email or phone call and we will talk it over.

Disregard the prices you see listed in the catalogs. In most cases, I can offer you a fully assembled rod for about the same, or slightly more cost than the total combined retail cost of the parts. And it will be professionally built - and guaranteed.
