Bart Rods is a small custom shop located just outside of Pulaski, NY. and has been in the rod building business for over 30 years.

We are located in the heart of Salmon Country in scenic Upstate New York and are fortunate to be centrally located to some of the best fresh water game fishing on the Continent.

Salmon River in Pulaski, NY is home to trophy size Chinook & Coho Salmon, Steelhead, Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout and Smallmouth Bass.

I use rod blanks, guides, ferrules, reel seats, butts, wrapping supplies and other components made by St. Croix, G. Loomis, Mudhole, American Tackle, and other well known and trusted makers.

In most cases, I can offer you a fully assembled rod for about the same, or slightly more cost than the total combined retail cost of just the parts alone. And it will be professionally built - and your satisfaction guaranteed.

Lake Ontario is recognized for its giant Walleye, Northern Pike, Muskellunge, Large & Smallmouth Bass, Salmon, Lake Trout, Brown Trout, and a plethora of panfish. Many record breaking lunkers have been caught from Lake Ontario.
